Come and see Corciano, a wonderful town located between Perugia and Lake Trasimeno, and one of the ‘Cento Borghi più belli d’Italia’ (One hundred most beautiful villages in Italy). You’ll feel as if you’ve taken a step back in time into a well-manicured town rich in art and evocative panoramic views. Our guides will accompany you throughout the day and provide you with information and unusual insights regarding this wonderful Umbrian town.

Near the main square of Corciano, stands the beautiful Chiesa di Santa Maria Assunta. On the high altar you will see the Pala di Corciano (altarpiece), the masterpiece created by Perugino dedicated to the Assumption and you will also be able to admire the Gonfalone (banner) created by Benedetto Bonfigli during the plague epidemic. The mighty circular Torrione of Porta Santa Maria will take you back in time, as if you were one of the ancient inhabitants of Corciano, to imagine the importance of the fortification during war-time attacks. Explore the historic centre of the village and its alleys and reach the characteristic Palazzo della Corgna, now the seat of the Town Council of Corciano. The Museo Civico e della Casa Contadina is also well worth a visit: the rooms, the utensils, the work equipment and the skilfully embroidered fabrics will fascinate you and make you feel like time has stood still. The Chiesa di Sant’Agostino is also worth seeing for its numerous and important works of art.

If you want to find out more about Corciano’s past and man’s activities in the area, visit the Museo Antiquarium, which houses a permanent exhibition of archaeological and historical artefacts.
