With this fantastic tour option you can combine fun with discovering the food and wine culture that has always been so deeply rooted in Umbria. On board a van or, if you choose, a vintage 70s Volkswagen Transporter, guided by an ‘on the road’ sommelier, we will help you to discover an area supremely suited to the production of wine since ancient times: Lake Trasimeno, with its hills and stunning panoramic views. You will have the chance to visit two iconic wineries in the area and taste their wines, accompanied by the customary typical, local products. A fine example of what ‘made in Umbria’ has to offer. This tour dedicated to fine wine – also available in English and French – will also give you the opportunity to get to know and enjoy hands-on contact with the grape varieties, processes and production techniques of the individual wineries that you will visit with us.
