The lush green Umbrian hills have always been an ideal habitat for viticulture. Their conformation also makes them easily accessible for visiting the numerous wineries that overlook them. With this food and wine tour – also available in English and French – you can get on board a van or, if you choose, a vintage 1970s Volkswagen Transporter and, guided by an ‘on the road’ sommelier, discover with us the winescapes of the king of Umbrian wine: Sagrantino di Montefalco.

The two wineries you will see have been active on the Umbrian wine scene for decades. In addition to the production techniques employed you can learn more about the organoleptic characteristics of the wine you will taste. You will thereby get a deeper understanding of the area, the grape varieties and the amazing wines they yield. Montefalco, with its top-quality wine history and its rolling hills, awaits you.
