A Stand Up Paddling excursion for a unique view of Lake Trasimeno!

The weather conditions on Lake Trasimeno are usually ideal for Stand Up Paddling; a light wind and smooth waters mean that this sport really is accessible to anyone who wants to try a quiet and undemanding excursion in a fantastic natural environment such as the Trasimeno lake, admiring the wonderful views. This experience, which lasts about two hours, will enable you to learn the basics of this discipline: the correct position of your body on the board and the right grip on the paddle for steering, advancing or turning, in addition to the notions regarding rowing techniques. You will be able to venture out immediately and experience your first excursion on the waters of the lake, visit one of its islands or choose to glide freely on its smooth waters. You will be guided step by step by highly-qualified instructors who will be able to gently encourage you and correct your movements. Let yourself be carried away by the tranquil waters of Lake Trasimeno, a sporting experience that’s suitable even for children!

Recommended clothing

Bring with you a change of clothes or a bathing costume/trunks, a towel and water-proof mules.
On colder days we suggest you wear a technical sports sweater.

Included

You will be given a Neoprene wetsuit in the coldest months, the board, paddle and all the equipment needed to enjoy the activity. In the starting area there are showers, toilets and changing rooms where you can change for the departure and where you can leave your personal or valuable items.

This activity lasts half a day, so lunch is not provided. In your itinerary you can still select the lunch option, above your timeline. We will be able to recommend one of the best places to eat when you return.
