Venturing just outside Gubbio and going up one of the adjacent hills, you will arrive at this fantastic castle, which has now become a family-run farm stay.
In ancient times it was one of the outposts dedicated to the defence of Gubbio, dating back as far as 1163. Today it has been splendidly restored and rises again magnificently in command of this hill.
Not only will you have the opportunity to stay at this historic property, but you will be able to enjoy the magnificent welcome guaranteed by Anna and Alfredo, who run it impeccably and will make sure you have everything you need.
The furnishings, from the communal areas to the apartments, are classic but refined in style. Outside you will have access to a large green area with numerous facilities including a swimming pool, fishing pond, BBQ, the chance to try your hand at archery and much more.
Last but not least, you can take advantage of the restaurant service. Alfredo is also the chef and on request will be happy to offer you typical local dishes made exclusively with local ingredients.
At this castle you will step into the past, surrounded by nature, yet be a few minutes from Gubbio and a few kilometres from the most important cities, such as Perugia and Assisi.
Cancellation policy
The cancellation is free of charge if made at least 15 days before the start date of your stay. If you cancel between 15 and 7 days before the start date of your stay, we will apply a 50% penalty. If you cancel less than 7 days before the start date of your stay, the penalty applied will be 100%.
