Fahrradtour durch das etruskische Umbrien
Umbrien ist die Region der Etrusker. Dies bezeugt eine Reihe an Kunstwerken und Fundstücken, durch die die Gegend deutlich gekennzeichnet ist: Mauern, Bögen, Brunnen, Höhlen, Grabsteine und Nekropolen erinnern uns daran, dass die Etrusker eines der ältesten und mächtigsten Völker in Italien waren. Ein Großteil der Überreste kann noch immer besichtigt werden und ist gut erhalten, dazu gehören die alten Stadtmauern von Perugia, der etruskische Bogen sowie der Brunnen im oberen Bereich der Stadt sowie die wichtigen Grabmale der großen Nekropole Palazzone und des Hypogäums der Volumni. Außerdem zählen die Überreste des alten Volsinii (Orvieto) und des Tempels Belvedere dazu. Ein unendliches Schauspiel, eingebettet in den wunderbaren Rahmen der grünen Hügel und der alten Orte Umbriens.
