Here the renowned marble slab representing <em>St. Fortunato, St. Cassiano <\/em>and <em>Christ the Redeemer<\/em>, dated 10th-11th centuries, is located. The following five sections are dedicated to <strong>Archaeology <\/strong>(Attican pottery with black and red images, terracotta architectural elements and votive bronze statuettes), to <strong>Numismatics <\/strong>(approximately 1500 Greek, pre-Roman, Medieval and modern coins overall), to <strong>Fabric <\/strong>(Holy Vestments and other silk, velvet, damask and linen cloth made between the 15th and the 18th centuries), to <strong>Pottery <\/strong>(ceramic commonly used between the 8th and the 13th centuries). Last but not least, the <strong><em>Pinacoteca (Municipal<\/em> <em>Picture Gallery<\/em>)<\/strong> housing some amazing artworks: the renowned <em>pala <\/em>(altar piece), portraying the <em>Coronation of the Virgin, <\/em>by <strong>Giovanni di Spagna<\/strong>, among <em>Perugino<\/em>&#8216;s most important pupils, six canvases by <strong>Ferra\u00f9 da Faenza<\/strong> from the Cathedral and from St. Fortunato Church, the <em>Deposition <\/em>by <strong>Pietro Paolo Sensini<\/strong> (1608), and <em>The Virgin with Child and Saints <\/em>by <strong>Andrea Polinori.<\/strong><\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>Reorganised and reopened to the public in 1997, Todi Civic Museum is located on the top floor of Palazzo del Popolo (People&#8217;s Palace) and Palazzo del Capitano (Captain&#8217;s Palace).
