The internationally famous <strong>Umbria Jazz, <\/strong>is one of the most prestigious music festivals in Italy and it takes place throughout the whole city in the middle of July. Walking the streets of Perugia in October is even sweeter, thanks to the <strong>EuroChocolate<\/strong> fest that colours the city centre with spectacles, stands, and exhibitions of various flavours, provided that they are chocolate of course. Many free concerts are regularly held in Piazza IV Novembre. Seasonal open air <strong>markets<\/strong> often sprout all over town, the most famous of all being the<strong> Christmas Market of Rocca Paolina<\/strong>.
