For a certain period, the Pallavicini played an important role in Piegaro, having purchased the important <em>glassworks in Piegaro<\/em>.<\/p>\n<p>The palazzo was temporarily the seat of the <strong>municipio<\/strong> (Town Hall) after the Second World War and later became a prestigious period residence.
