Wahrscheinlich wurde sie zwischen dem 11. und dem 12. Jahrhundert von den Einwohnern des Viertels Pusterula zu Ehren des Bischofs von Tours gegr\u00fcndet, auch wenn die ersten Zeugnisse betreffend die Kirche erst sp\u00e4ter auftauchen, um das Jahr 1333-34. Das Geb\u00e4ude, eine der \u201ceinfachen Kirchen von Spello, setzt sich wahrscheinlich aus zwei unterschiedlichen Bauphasen zusammen: die erste erfolgte zwischen dem Ende des 11. und dem Beginn des 12. Jahrhunderts, auf die die architektonische Grundlage des Geb\u00e4udes nach einem romanischen Modell mit einem h\u00fctten\u00e4hnlichen Dach und schr\u00e4gen Walmfl\u00e4chen zur\u00fcckzuf\u00fchren ist. Auf die zweite Bauphase geht die Versetzung des Glockenturms zur\u00fcck, der sich urspr\u00fcnglich segelf\u00f6rmige von der Fassade abhob, w\u00e4hrend er sich heute im Bereich der Apsis befindet; au\u00dferdem wurde das Dach erneuert und drei Querb\u00f6gen innen errichtet, die im vergangenen Jahrhundert \u00fcberarbeitet wurden.<\/p>\n<p>Heute ist die Kirche nicht mehr zug\u00e4nglich, einzige Ausnahme sind einige Feierlichkeiten oder Ausstellungen lokaler K\u00fcnstler. <strong>Die Fassade ist einfach und besteht aus regionalem wei\u00dfem Stein<\/strong>, sie enth\u00e4lt ein Eingangstor, umrahmt von zwei H\u00fclsen \u2013 eine in Rot und eine in Wei\u00df; im oberen Bereich befindet sich ein zweibogiges Fenster mit lilienf\u00f6rmigem Kapitell. Die Form ist rechteckig und die Innenw\u00e4nde gehen auseinander und lassen eine illusorische Tiefe entstehen. Ganz hinten befindet sich die Apsis mit einem im Jahr 1971 erneuerten Altar aus arch\u00e4ologischen Fundst\u00fccken und Originalteilen und dahinter befindet sich die kleine T\u00fcr der Sakristei.<\/p>\n<p>Die Malereien sind stark besch\u00e4digt: In einer Nische links befindet siche in Fresko mit dem Hl. Martin, der seinen Mantel dem Armen schenkt, dar\u00fcber befindet sich ein kaputtes Fresko mit dem Hl. Sebastian, beide aus dem 15. Jahrhundert.
