Das Gemeinhin als Haus des Hl. Ubaldo<\/strong> bekannte Geb\u00e4ude ist eigentlich der alte Herrschaftssitz der Familie Accoromboni aus Gubbio. Kein offizielles Dokument best\u00e4tigt tats\u00e4chlich, dass der Palazzo den Patron der Stadt<\/a> beherbergt hat. Es handelt sich dabei um ein mittelalterliches Geb\u00e4ude, das zwischen dem 13. und dem 14. Jahrhundert im architektonischen Stil der Stadt errichtet wurde und trotz zahlreicher \u00dcberarbeitungen bis heute gut erhalten geblieben ist. Es scheint, dass die Fassade infolge der Errichtung der wichtigen Palazzi der Stadt, die vor diesem Haus liegen, vollkommen dem Erdboden gleich gemacht und neu errichtet wurde. Das Haus erhebt sich tats\u00e4chlich unweit von der Piazza Grande<\/a> und vom Palazzo dei Consoli<\/a>.<\/p>\n

Es ist heute im Besitz der Universit\u00e0 degli Studi di Gubbio und wird von der Gruppe der Fahnenschwinger der Stadt genutzt. Im Inneren des Geb\u00e4udes befinden sich noch heute zahlreiche Reste der urspr\u00fcnglichen Mauerverzierungen, au\u00dferdem wurden einige Ausstellungen f\u00fcr Besucher eingerichtet: Der Abschnitt, der der \u201cIkonografie des Patrons\u201d gewidmet ist, besteht aus Gem\u00e4lden unterschiedlicher Herkunft, die zwischen dem 16. und dem 19. Jahrhundert entstanden sind; der Abschnitt der \u201cGem\u00e4lde und Majolika-Kacheln\u201d enth\u00e4lt wertvolle Gem\u00e4lde und Kacheln verschiedener K\u00fcnstler vom 17. bis zum 20.
